Couples Counseling
Maybe you keep having the same fight in different clothes. Maybe you've drifted into people who share a calendar and a house but not much else. Maybe trust has been broken, and you don't know yet whether it can come back. Or maybe you still love each other and just can't seem to reach each other anymore.
Coming to counseling doesn't mean your relationship is failing. It means you care enough to fight for it in a better way. Whatever's happened, the goal is the same: to help you understand each other again, and to decide, together, where you go from here.

I give you a calmer place to have the conversations that keep going sideways at home as well as the tools to actually hear each other underneath the frustration. I work with couples on:
Rebuilding trust after an affair
Communication that stops turning into conflict
Navigating co-parenting and the load of daily life
Whatever's happened, the goal is the same: to help you understand each other again and decide, together, where you go from here.

I blend two well-researched approaches, Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In plain terms, that means I help you slow down the arguments that keep going sideways and hear what's actually underneath them, usually something more tender than the fight on the surface. So much conflict is really two people longing to feel understood and reaching for it in ways that miss. My job is to help you reach each other in a way that lands. You won't need to know any of these terms. I'll keep it human and clear as we go.
Whatever brought you to this page, you don't have to keep circling the same pain on your own. When you're ready, I'd love to help.
